We are home from the hospital! It was an early morning as we had to check-in at 5:45am. Natalie did fantastic. Her procedure started around 7:30am and they were done around 8:30am. It took her quite a while to fully wake-up. We couldn't leave until she was drinking normally and walking around the room without falling. She was able to accomplish this around 10am. We left the hospital around 10:30am. The doctor told me that the pictures of her small intestine and colon looked great, but we won't know much else until we get the results from her biopsy. Natalie was eating soft solid foods this afternoon, and as I'm writing this at 3:30, she is napping. Thank you to everyone for their prayers today. I know the Lord was giving us strength and peace throughout everything. Next Monday Natalie will have a skin allergy test. This should be very easy compared to what we went through today! We have a follow-up Dr.'s appointment in two weeks. He will review the biopsy results with us, plus the results from all the blood work taken a few weeks ago. Hopefully we will have a clear direction after that. Thank you again for your prayers!
