Fantasy of Trees

Last Friday, we were given free tickets from a couple at church to attend The Fantasy of Trees. The Fantasy of Trees is a fundraiser put on for the Children's Hospital in Knoxville. They raise hundreds of thousands of dollars every year at this event for the hospital. It was located at the Knoxville Convention Center. What an amazing event! We were taken back by the beauty of it. Hundreds of decorated trees lined the showroom.

But besides admiring the trees, many other activities were offered. We rode the merry-go-round, watched a square-dancing show on the main stage, visited a gingerbread house village display, the girls played putt-putt, and rode around on mini cars/scooters- all for free. Then for $2/craft, the girls were able to decorate a mini Christmas tree with ribbons, make polar magnets, make thumb-print ornaments, and color 3D snowmen. Many other craft options were available- so it was hard to choose which ones to do! All three girls had so much fun!

We have many more pictures from this event on our facebook album. Click on the link Fantasy of Trees at the top right of this page to see it.
